Financial Aid Webinar Series

As part of Financial Aid Awareness Month, NCSEAA and CFNC will be hosting a weekly Financial Aid Webinar series to assist students, parents, and education professionals with navigating the financial aid landscape.
The first session of the webinar series, Understanding Financial Aid, will take place on Monday, February 3 from 6-7 PM. This session will provide an overview of how to pay for college, including financial aid, and examples of places where students can look for gap funding.
The second session, North Carolina State Aid Programs, will take place on Monday, February 10 from 6-7 PM. This session will cover financial aid programs, including the Next NC Scholarship, the Aubrey Lee Brooks Foundation Scholarship, the Golden LEAF Scholars Program, and Forgivable Education Loans for Service (FELS).
In the third session, a FAFSA Walkthrough, NCSEAA and CFNC will walk participants through the process of completing the 2025-2026 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
The final session, Evaluating Financial Aid Award Letters, will help participants to understand award letters to assist students in making the best choice for their educational goals.
