College Advising Corps
College Advising Corps focuses on college enrollment and completion among low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students by delivering personalized, knowledgeable guidance on college admission, financial aid, and enrollment. Their in-school model places well-trained, recent college graduates from one of their partner universities as full-time college advisers in high schools across the nation.

College Foundation, Inc.
College Foundation, Inc. (CFI), a non-profit corporation serving North Carolina students and families since 1955, administers a large portfolio of education loans, several major grant and scholarship programs for students attending NC colleges and universities, and the tax-advantaged “529” college savings program on behalf of the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority. CFI also delivers information to North Carolina students and families about paying for college and provides technology services to the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) education collaboration.

College Foundation of North Carolina
The College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) is a free service of the State of North Carolina provided by a collaboration of Pathways (the NC Department of Public Instruction, the NC Community College System, the NC Independent Colleges and Universities and The University of North Carolina System), the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority, and College Foundation, Inc. CFNC promotes access to North Carolina higher education and assists students with education planning, career planning, and applying and paying for college.

The North Carolina Community College System
The North Carolina Community College System oversees 58 community colleges, which are within a 30-minute drive of its citizens. The mission of the North Carolina Community College System is to offer high-quality, accessible educational opportunities that minimize barriers to post-secondary education, maximize student success, develop a global, multicultural and competent workforce, and improve the lives and well-being of North Carolina citizens.

The State Education Assistance Authority is the state agency that promotes access to higher education by administering financial aid and savings programs, informing students and families about paying for college, teaching educators about financial aid administration, and advocating for resources to support students.

The Education Policy Initiative at Carolina
The Education Policy Initiative at Carolina (EPIC) is a policy research and evaluation initiative within UNC Public Policy. EPIC conducts relevant and useful research and evaluation activities to facilitate the accumulation of knowledge about education policy and practice. Towards this end, they aim to cultivate and sustain research-to-practice partnerships—long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations between researchers and practitioners—with policymakers and educators across North Carolina. Their strategy is to conduct rigorous and relevant research, improve the use of research evidence in decision making, and engage researchers and practitioners in addressing problems of practice.

UNC Reese Innovation Lab
The Reese Innovation Lab works to create and share novel and immersive storytelling experiences that engage audiences by leveraging innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality with unique, research-based perspectives. Students and faculty use innovative technologies and human-centered design concepts to solve challenging problems for media companies.
